Now And Then

The Beatles

I listened to this one because it’s “The Beatle’s last song.” Musically, the song isn’t that interesting; the decades-long production of the song and its machine-learning resurrection fascinates me, though (I recommended watching the documentary if you have a few minutes).

“Now And Then” is juxtaposed with the band’s first single––a 2023 mix of “Love Me Do.” Hearing them back-to-back is really jarring (surely intentional) and is almost uncomfortable.

It’s rather strange to see “Head of Machine Learning” in an album credits list; what a time to be alive…
