This is a tranquil and peaceful album; it’s great for casual listening and as a counterweight to the speed of everyday life. It’s dynamic, open, textural, and evokes images of dramatic landscapes (kind of like this).
I’m a fan of the more electronic tracks, though I liked hearing the details picked up from the acoustic instruments, such as the damper pedal and chair creaks.
