I’m a few months late to this one, but better late than never! I wasn’t sure what to expect––I’ve only heard Charli XCX on the radio and never listened seriously––but this is a solid, high-energy album.
Each track is exciting and unique, and it’s nearly impossible to listen without head bobbing. The album’s tracks flow naturally; Charli XCX’s writing is vulnerable and honest.
There’s an addictive quality to BRAT––I can’t stop listening to it. The purpose of this blog isn’t to rate albums, but this is an 8/10 album for me, primarily because it’s so listenable and such a banger.
Favorite tracks: “Von dutch” and “So I.”
Weakest tracks: “I might say something stupid” and “I think about it all the time.”
